News and Announcements
Volunteer sign-ups are up for March 9th’s Special Olympics hosted by AV.
This is a 1 day event for basketball with about 50 teams on Sat, at 3 locations (Amador Valley High School, Harvest Park and Pleasanton Middle Schools) on 11 courts.
This is a wonderful opportunity to help run events for those with intellectual disabilities.
AGE Requirement: Volunteers must be High School age or older, unless with Parent or older sibling. Families with younger children (under 12) can participate as Team Escorts which is fun for all ages.
More info and sign up at http://www.av-specialolympics.org/
Think of a friend, coworker, or family member you would like to flock out of love or to celebrate a birthday. The chosen lawn will be decorated with a sea of pink plastic flamingos set up by your very own AV Girls Soccer team on a Friday or Saturday night.
See flyer for info or contact Sara Campbell at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Sideline Cheer registration participation is currently 97%. Congratulations on exceeding your goal of 90%.
Your Athletic Registration’ covers Coaches, Transportation and your portion of the Athletic Director, it does not cover all the costs necessary to run the program. Any short fall in Athletic Registration must be covered by the Teams fundraising amount and directly cuts into their ability to build the program.
All money collected for Athletic Registration will be paid directly to AVHS.
Congratulations to all of our Athletes who have recently earned their Varsity Letter. As a reminder, Amador Valley Letter Jackets can earn money for AV Athletics. JacketBack Embroidery will donate $25 back to AV Athletics for every letter jacket purchased.
