2. Pre-Season Program Overview
Open Gyms: 4-6pm at AVHS Large Gym (unless unavailable then at Core Volleyball Club which may result in an earlier start time) 6/13; 6/15; 6/20; 6/22; 7/11; 7/13; 7/25; 7/27
Strength and Conditioning: TBD
*ALL OPEN GYMS ARE AT NO COST TO YOUR PLAYER AND ARE OPEN TO NEW AND RETURNING PLAYERS!
3. Amador Volleyball Camp–

*THIS IS ONE OF OUR BIG FUNDRAISERS FOR THE SEASON! Camp is open to all players grades 5-12. Cost is $200
Middle School Camp: 5-8th grade 8/1-8/4 12-2pm in AVHS Gym
Incoming Freshman: 9th grade 8/1-8/4 12-2 pm in AVHS Gym
Returning Players: 10-12th grade 8/1-8/4 9-11 am in AVHS Gym
4. Tryouts: August 8,9,10
JV/Varsity: 3:30-5:30 pm
Frosh: 5:30-7pm
Tryout Results: August 10
First Practice: August 11
Mandatory Parent/Player Meeting: Friday August 12 at 6:30pm. This meeting will be a zoom meeting. All players and at least one parent for each player must attend. Important information about program financials, fundraising plans, team expectations, volunteer needs and program activities will be shared. This program offers a lot for the players and it only happens when we have dedicated parents to make it a great season!

5. Athletic Clearance and Concussion Testing
Must go to the school website to download athletic clearance form—directions to upload completed form (based on an updated physical) are online at the school’s website. Must turn in a receipt from this online platform to the activities desk. Volleyball Date to turn in completed Athletic Clearance is posted to the Amador High School website–please check there for date to be posted soon . Players are not eligible to try out unless their clearance paperwork is on file.
Concussion testing is mandatory for freshman, juniors or anyone else new to the program. Baseline testing is done through our Athletic Trainer, Diana Hasenpflug – dhasenpflug@pleasantonusd.net. Contact her directly for the link and access code.
6. Teampages and Fair Share Fee ($500)

7. Volunteer Clearance: DUE NOW
Volunteer clearance is online only now. Please use the school website to gain clearance. ALL FAMILIES MUST VOLUNTEER!
