Did You Know about our MAKE A WISH SNACK BAR?

We wanted to share a quick note about our snack bar at our home matches. The snack bar is a fundraiser for the AV Make-A-Wish Club. We have several of our players in that club including, Sarah, Elizabeth, Dani and Collette! And they are always looking for more members, so make sure to tell your player to talk to them about joining! They do some fun stuff!

They have been holding fundraisers since last year with a goal of raising awareness for the amazing Make-A-Wish Foundation and to raise enough money to sponsor a WISH for a critically ill child. They are so close – they have raised almost $7,000 to date and need to raise an additional $3,000 to sponsor a WISH.
So, please stop by and grab a refreshment and toss in a donation in their tip jar!

Picture Day and Fall Sports Program 2019

Posted by Volleyball - Girls at Aug 23, 2019 12:23PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

PICTURE DAY 8/30 AT 3:30 PM
Picture day for Girls Volleyball is coming up next Friday 8/30 at 3:30 pm. Girls should bring their team kits to school that day and coaches and players will determine which jersey they will wear for pictures. These team pictures are featured in the yearbook and in the Fall Sports Program. Picture forms will be handed out next week at the Tuesday game. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR PLAYER BRINGS HER FORM AND PAYMENT TO PICTURE DAY ON 8/30!

PLAYER ADS IN FALL SPORTS PROGRAM
Player Ads are DUE FRIDAY AUGUST 30 INCLUDING PAYMENT! Please complete the player ad form and attach a check for $50 made out to AVHS BOOSTERS (PLAYER AD IN THE NOTES). 100% of the proceeds for these player ads comes right back to our program! This is a great way to feature your player and help support Girls Volleyball. Please see me for a Player Ad form at one of our games next week!

Programs are $20 each and you can also complete an order form for these and give me payment as well. I will take orders and payment for these through the next few weeks. Deadline for program orders will be 9/15. Again, these are great keepsakes and gifts for family members who may not have had a chance to see your player compete this season. $5 from every program goes directly to support Girls Volleyball.

BUSINESS ADS
Some of us are busy selling ads for our Fall Sports Program. Remember that this is an important fundraiser for us—our goal is to raise $10,000 from ad sales. Please consider asking a business you frequent to support Girls Volleyball for as little as $150 for a business card ad, $250 for a quarter page ad, $500 for a half page ad, and $850 for a full page ad. See Suzanne Kostalnick if you would like a copy of the sponsorship packet to take to a business.

Business Ad contracts and payments are DUE NO LATER THAN 9/6!

Thank you for your support!
