Dear AVHS Wrestling Family,

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Break. Now that we are back at it, I thought I’d send out a reminder and update regarding our AVHS Wrestling Fundraiser. We have set our fundraising goal at $13,000. All wrestlers must do their part in order for us to reach that goal. This $13,000 will help cover the costs of our tournaments, gear, team equipment, team uniforms/apparel, and team training fees. We would like each athlete’s target goal to be $500.

We are asking that each wrestler send out at least 10 e-mails to friends and family asking for support for this fundraiser. Wrestling is 100% self-funded and it is imperative that we reach this goal to keep our program going.

Below is a Sample Email for each player to send out. Please use the GREEN “Donate Here” button to make a donation.

Dear AVHS Wrestling Family,

The 2018/2019 Wresting Season is here! We will be using an online fundraiser (Team Raise) to help with the costs of tournament fees, travel expenses, equipment expenses, and gear. Team Raise uses e-mails and social media to raise money. We ALL need to participate and do our part in order to make sure this fundraiser is a SUCCESS!! A fundraising page has been created at http://www.amadorsports.com/clubs/4309/pages/128809

Parents & athletes are requested and encouraged to send emails to family and friends and post on their social media. Our program is 100% self-funded and with our budget we have a lot to cover to keep this program going. This online fundraiser is for the team to reach out to relatives and friends to see if they would be willing to help out. Please make sure to get emails out to your contacts as soon as possible. If everyone meets their target goal of $500 we should have no problem surpassing our team fundraising goal! All MUST do their part.
