News and Announcements

Welcome to the 2021-2022 AVHS Competition Cheer Season!

This team will be competing in the Large Novice Show Cheer division, and we feel confident that it will be a successful season. The season runs from: July 2021 – February 2022

Program Advisor & Competition Head Coach: Eileen Drury
Hi everyone, I am super excited that Amador is able to have a Competition Team this year!
A little bit about me… this will be my third year coaching at Amador and second year coaching the Competition Team. I am also an Amador Cheer alumni, so I am especially passionate about the program’s success. I was also a college cheerleader, UCA Staff member, and all-star cheerleader — essentially, cheer is my life :)
I can’t wait for this talented group of athletes to take on this new season and work to bring home a National Championship title!
You can contact me at avhscheercoaches@gmail.com or at (925) 989-5611. Text is preferred.
**Please note that I work a full-time job outside of coaching, so I may not always be reachable during the day.

Uniform + Miscellaneous Items Needed
We will be keeping the same uniforms as last season, so only new athletes will need to purchase.
Pam from Varsity will be attending one of our upcoming practices to fit new athletes for uniforms.
*Parents will pay for uniforms directly through the Varsity portal.
*We will also be ordering a warm up jacket and nationals t-shirt (more details to come).

Athletes will need NEW white Nfinity cheer shoes for competition days. Keep em clean for competitions!
Here is my preference: Nfinity Flytes (in white), but any white, low-top Nfinitys will do!

Athlete Conduct
All practices, competitions, fundraisers, and team bonding events are MANDATORY. Work and outside sports/extracurriculars are not excusable absences.
Attitude is everything! We are a relatively small team, and every person counts. There is no room for negativity or doubt. As we work toward a successful season, every athlete must be all in and ready to work hard for the betterment of everyone. The hardest working team always deserves to win!

Looking forward to a fantastic season!

Dear Amador High School parents and students,

Is it time for your son or daughter to get their driving permit? If so, the first step is the DRIVERS EDUCATION ONLINE PROGRAM.

It’s a huge milestone, and the first step in learning to drive safely!

Amador Boosters has partnered with the YOUR DRIVERS ED ONLINE program to ensure your teens success in step one of this exciting process. So, not only will they be more independent, but they will also learn to be safe.

This program is a state requirement, and the first step to getting your license.

Please check out this new Driver’s Ed Online program we’ve partnered with. Please make sure you DO NOT check the “Assets Program” but DO make sure you choose AMADOR HIGH school and fill in ALAMEDA COUNTY. This way, Amador Boosters will get the credit, thus helping our Amador athletic program. Register on-line now at https://www.yourdriversedonline.com/register.

During these challenging times, this will greatly help our athletic program, and the entire student body!

Thank you!
