1.) VP of Membership – The VP of Membership plays an important role in the AVHS Boosters community! This role focuses on attracting and retaining membership through the AVHS walk through registration program. In this role, you’ll work with other board members to identify the right mix of fun and fundraising to help support our registration efforts this summer and beyond!

2.) VP of Communications – Keeping members and the overall Amador sporting community in the know is key to AVHS Boosters! If you’re a social media guru, love being “in the know” and enjoy sharing news, this role is for you!

Final Amateurism Certification Reminder for Students
Students enrolling full time at an NCAA Division I or II college or university in Fall 2018 may request their final amateurism certification starting April 1. This is a requirement to compete their freshman year.

To request final amateurism, students should log in to their Certification Account at eligibilitycenter.org and:
Review their added sports and answers to Sports Questions.
Check their graduation and enrollment dates and update if necessary.
Review any open tasks and complete necessary information.

Remember, the enrollment date in your profile account should reflect the date you first plan to enroll in an NCAA Division I or II school.

The Amador Valley High School Boosters Crab Feed is February 23, 2018!

I hope the ideas are brewing and everyone has started talking with parents about your team’s auction basket! Remember that 100% of the proceeds from the auction basket go back to support your team! Some ideas include, tickets to sporting events, plays, vacation home stays, gift certificates, wine, themed baskets, etc.…
If your team decides to not donate a basket for the auction, teams are encouraged to donate a cake to be auctioned off that evening by the coaches. Again, if you donate a cake, proceeds will go back to support the team’s program. You team has the option of donating a basket, a cake, or both! I have attached the Donation Form again. This form provides a description of what is being donated.

I would like to make sure everyone is receiving communication about the auction baskets/cakes and want to make sure that we have a variety of items, so please email me your plan for supporting this year’s crab feed at marysdiligent@gmail.com. Please include a general description of what you are collecting for your basket and/or if you are donating a cake.
