Over the weekend the Amador Dons hockey team took on the cross town rivals Foothill Falcons.
The Don’s prevailed with a 6-2 win. After the 1st period it was tied 1-1 with goals from Falcon Andrew Ralston and Don Ryan Coultrip. Foothill took the lead in the 2nd with a goal by Felix Busel. Amador answered with 3 goals that period, 2 by Carter Leong and another by JT Fulmer. The 3rd period would see only the Don’s score, one from Joey Demeo and another from Dante Debenedetto.

Friday May 3rd at 7:00 is Amador Don’s final regular season game & Senior night, honoring the 10 graduates; Clyde Boren, Derek Braaten, Michael Cassetti, Dante Debenedetto, Justin Fulmer, Anthony Goldhawk, Emily Lahrs, Carter Leong, Shai Panaga, Mark Zhao

Lou Cesario at Amador Valley earned his 400th career win as a high school head baseball coach. This makes him the only active high school baseball coach in the Bay Area with 400+ wins. Please welcome me in congratulating Lou Cesario on this tremendous accomplishment. Congratulations to Varsity Mens tennis team 2019 EBAL Champions! They capped their regular season with 6-3 win over Foothill finishing with an awesome 24-0 record. This is AV Tennis first title since 1975. Good luck into post-season EBAL and NCS Singles, Doubles, and Team Qualifier tournaments.

Track & Field athletic registration participation is currently 56%. This creates a deficit of $19,655 to make up. If you have not done so, please pay your Athletic Registration of $250 per player. Your Athletic Registration’ covers Coaches, transportation and your portion of the Athletic Director, it does not cover all the costs necessary to run the program. Any short fall in Athletic Registration must be covered by the Teams fundraising amount and directly cuts into their ability to build the program. Let’s get this number above 90%.

Hi all,

My apologies for the late request for volunteers. Time has definitely gotten away from me. I thought our meet was next Thursday.

With that said, we will need volunteers to cover all of our events on Thursday since it’s a home meet.

If you haven’t already volunteered, please consider volunteering now.

Our meet will start at 4 pm and end around 7 pm. Some events may end earlier but, plan to volunteer for the entire 3 hours of your event. If it ends early, you can leave then.

Thursday is also our Senior Recognition Day and will start promptly at 3:15 pm.
