The P-Town raffle is less than 3 weeks away and we only have a little over 2 weeks to sell. This is an easy way to raise much-needed funds for our team, so please get out there and sell tickets. I will be at practice tomorrow, Wednesday in front of the big gym between 5:20 – 5:45 pm to collect any ticket stubs and money OR provide additional tickets if need be.

Reminders as you sell:
- Tickets are $20 each ($10 will be allocated to Volleyball, $10 to AVHS Athletic Boosters)
- The winning ticket will be pulled at halftime of the AV/Foothill game (at Foothill) on Friday, October 25th.
- The AV and Foothill Boosters Clubs will pay the taxes/fees for the car – you will only pay the cost of the ticket(s)
- The winner has the option of taking the Chevy Sonic or putting the value of the car (incl taxes, etc) towards another vehicle at Dublin Chevrolet
- You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid drivers license to win
- You do not need to be present or a local resident to win
- *Sports and activities are 100% self-funding. These programs would not exist without donations.*

PIGSKIN 2019: A GREAT SUCCESS

Our annual PIGSKIN booth was a success! We brought in $1081 in proceeds from sales of our SKO DONS shirts, waters, raffle, and vertical testing. We still have plenty of shirts left over and will continue to sell them at our Home games.

A HUGE THANK YOU to our Pigskin Coordinators this year—Danielle May and Gina Vahey. They did an amazing job setting up and running the booth and getting both the girls and parents to work to sell our goods. There is so much to do in our short season and it is always great to have amazing parent volunteers get involved and make an event or a fundraiser a success—WE APPRECIATE YOU!

BOOSTER CAR RAFFLE: FINAL PUSH FUNDRAISER

The Booster Car Raffle is in full swing! Special thanks to Lisa Dote for stepping up to coordinate this fundraiser for our program. All girls have received 5 raffle tickets to sell and we expect the girls to be reaching out and selling their allotment of tickets. If your player would like to sell more, please see Lisa Dote. We split the proceeds of the raffle sales with Boosters. Each ticket is $20 and $10 will go directly to our program. We are hoping to raise at least $3800 from this fundraiser with $1900 coming directly to the AV Girls Volleyball Program.

The 2nd annual P-Town Bowl car raffle has started! Look for tickets from your athletes and cheerleaders starting this week until the Amador-Foothill game at Foothill on October 25th, where the winner of a 2019 Chevy Sonic will be announced.

Stop by the AVHS Booster booth at Pigskin this Friday, September 20th, to see the Sonic in person!

Did You Know about our MAKE A WISH SNACK BAR?

We wanted to share a quick note about our snack bar at our home matches. The snack bar is a fundraiser for the AV Make-A-Wish Club. We have several of our players in that club including, Sarah, Elizabeth, Dani and Collette! And they are always looking for more members, so make sure to tell your player to talk to them about joining! They do some fun stuff!

They have been holding fundraisers since last year with a goal of raising awareness for the amazing Make-A-Wish Foundation and to raise enough money to sponsor a WISH for a critically ill child. They are so close – they have raised almost $7,000 to date and need to raise an additional $3,000 to sponsor a WISH.
So, please stop by and grab a refreshment and toss in a donation in their tip jar!
