Congratulations to all of our Athletes who have recently earned their Varsity Letter. As a reminder, Amador Valley Letter Jackets can earn money for AV Athletics. JacketBack Embroidery will donate $25 back to AV Athletics for every letter jacket purchased.

Swim athletic registration participation is currently 64%. This creates a deficit of $16,795 to make up. If you have not done so, please pay your Athletic Registration of $275 per player. You can visit the School Activity Desk or pay online at https://amador.futurefund.com/store/campaigns/4107.

Your Athletic Registration’ covers Coaches, Transportation and your portion of the Athletic Director, it does not cover all the costs necessary to run the program. Any short fall in Athletic Registration must be covered by the Teams fundraising amount and directly cuts into their ability to build the program. Let’s get this number above 90%.

Practice this week:+

• Combined practice this week— M-Th 3:30 to 5:30.
• No practice Friday due to EBAL dive meet at Amador pool.
• Please swim in a local pool (DBAC suggested) during lap swim and swim pre-meet warmup on Friday if you are swimming at EBAL’s with the JV group on Saturday.

Thursday- Sweet Tomatoes Fundraiser
Please support our team and have some pasta and potatoes on Thursday night! Present the attached flyer and our team receives 20% back!

EBAL’s- Varsity only on Friday
Varsity swimmers please pick up a permission slip in the office. Release time is 10:30AM. Meet is at Dougherty Valley High School. We have a bus for Friday only driving the swimmers to the meet.

We still need parent volunteers for both Friday and Saturday! Remember, if you volunteer, you DO NOT have to pay the $8.00 entry fee! Please sign up and support your team!

Saturday is Junior Varsity swimmers with Varsity finalists.

• Parents need to drive their kids to Dougherty Valley at 7:00AM for check in and warm-ups.
• The meet lasts all day, weather should be nice, please dress in layers and bring food, water, and sunscreen!

On the horizon—the awards banquet is Monday, May 21st at 6PM! Please mark your calendars!

PURPLE AND GOLD MEET TOMORROW- 10:30-12:30

We need volunteers to help out with our 2nd Annual Purple and Gold Meet tomorrow. This will be a fun meet for all swimmers, and a great opportunity for swim families to meet each other. We will also be honoring all of our Seniors.
