Picture Day is this Tuesday
Picture Day is this Tuesday, 2/27 at 3:30 pm (Amador Pool)
Swimmers should be on deck and ready to go by 3:30 pm. Amador Valley swim gear is preferred or at the very least black swimsuits.
Team and Individual Photos:
Yary will be taking the team picture and any individual/buddy pictures you want to order. You can get a Yary order at the pool, or you can download and print one out at this URL: http://bit.ly/2ovJGcH (Be patient, the form takes a few minutes to load). Make sure to bring a check or money with you on Tuesday if you plan to purchase additional photos.
Individual Headshots and Booster’s Personal Ads
Our Sports Book photographer will also be on deck to take individual headshots of ALL swimmers (no payment required) and any personal ad pictures for the Athletic Booster Sports Program (see attached flyer). All the proceeds from the personal ads ($50) go directly to the AV Swim & Dive team.
Calling all photographers
Any parents who would like to help to take the kids’ headshots please let Nikki Brown at: nikki-m-brown@comcast.net. The more people we can have taking headshots the quicker it will all be!

Video Clinic with Todd Tucker- Tomorrow- Friday, February 23rd- Sign up ASAP
Underwater Video Analysis Clinic
USA Swimming Coach Todd Tucker (ASCA Level 5) is pleased to be able to offer underwater stroke analysis. Each session will be geared to a specific stroke and will include filming from above and below the water.
Swimmers will be provided a DVD edited to include Coach analysis in the form of voice-overs, slow motion, and freeze frames to provide swimmers/coaches a thorough breakdown of their stroke mechanics.
Limited to 25 Swimmers – session will fill quickly
Special Pricing for AVHS Swimmers-$45.00 per stroke, Normally $60.00 per stroke.
(You must pay the coaches before the clinic to participate.)

We need you to support AVHS Swim- If you haven’t done so already, please make sure to submit your $275.00 Registration for the Season. This money goes straight to our team and pays for our coaches, transportation to away meets, and more. Swim Gear- You can order all of the swim gear you need for the team from www.swimoutlet.com/avhsswim. When you go to the site you will see all of the suits and apparel that are available as well as the training gear that you will need.

- Sign-ups will be available via email. The cost is $45 dollars per stroke. This activity is limited to 25 kids so sign up early if you want to be involved.
- All Other Swimmers for Friday- Practice 3:30 to 5:30- Dryland only! So bring workout attire and tennis shoes!
+ Saturday 2/24+ at 10 AM – Team Bonding Event— Dairy RUN! Meet at AV at with your running shoes and a few bucks to get an ice cream!
