Frosh Football 2022-23

Hi Parents,

Thanks for coming out yesterday and braving the heat. Possibly the hottest temps that I have ever coached in at Amador and quite a challenge for the boys (and coaches). We had lots of guys coming in and out and probably had some kids that lost a pound or two but we came out relatively healthy and 2-0!

Great win against a traditional power and putting up 56 points no less! The team is playing very well and having so much fun, they are a joy to coach!

They have earned some time off so we are giving them the four day weekend and will be back at it at 6pm on Tuesday. We will not practice on Wednesday but will practice on Thursday since we have a bye that day. Friday is a possibility since Varsity and JV play on Saturday next week but we want to see how the week goes before we make a call, we will of course let everyone know.

Because Sheryl & Tony were asked to work the Homecoming for the big teams (and it would be nice for them to have the opportunity to not work a game), we ask for Announcer, Scoreboard and Spotter backups to get on the job training during this game. Arrive no later than 5pm for pre-game training. Sit with our newly minted expert for the first half and get your feet wet in the 2nd half. Thanks in advance for helping out & we will put you in contact with them so you can leverage their preparation during the week.
