Hi & please absorb this in full. With football events coming quickly, below is what WE need to take on to support our Frosh team. I will be following Carey’s lead and use SignUp Genius for the tasks ahead of us. Right now, this is just informational.

Spaghetti feeds (coaches & players only – we are the chefs): The first one (TBD) will be at Amador because all 3 teams will be in attendance. The next two are for the Frosh team-only. They occur on a Wednesday after practice. Coach is targeting the Foothill and Monte Vista games.
1) Someone will need to volunteer their home to host the two Frosh team-only events.
2) The rest of us will supply folding tables, chairs & the meal.

All Games
1) Filming the game for the coaches: I have volunteered for all the games using my personal device. I ask for someone to be a backup.

Home Games
1) Chain gang
2) Announcer - Coach Duncan will put me in contact with an experienced announcer to train the volunteer(s)
3) Scoreboard - Coach Duncan will put me in contact with an experience scoreboard person to train the volunteer(s)
4) Concessions Stand - Carey will advise (TBD)

Hi Parents,

Thanks for coming out to support us again last night. Another great performance by the boys and a total team effort against another quality program!

I know you all have been wanting to know when we practice next week (as have I) and it looks like we will be in our 6-7:30 time slot again next week. Please note that this could change the following week and we might even have to adjust a little next week. So much is dependent upon the band practice schedule especially, but also varsity and jv football who of course all take priority over us.

We do our best to fit in when we can and it often means being flexible. The good thing is usually once school starts and the games begin we have a set schedule and things don’t change much.

So for now plan on 6-7:30 this week in full pads and our Purple & Gold Scrimmage on Saturday 8/13 from 8:30am – 10am, details to follow. I will let you know if anything changes and thank you for your patience and flexibility.
