News and Announcements

Hi everyone,

Tomorrow is the final day of USA Showtime camp! The girls have been working hard on their Friday Night Lights routines, and can’t wait to show you what they’ve been working on this week.

As the camp was moved to Great America, the performance will be held at the Great America amphitheater. They will start letting parents in at 10am. You can either park at Great America ($25) or park at the Hyatt and walk to the amphitheater (about 10 min).

Commuters will still need to arrive at 8am for morning camp activities. There is a coffee shop and seating area in the lobby of the Hyatt where parents can wait if needed.

The camp will end around 12:30, and athletes will be able to go home shortly thereafter (we will want to take team photos).

If you are planning to attend, please text Coach Eileen at (925)989-5611 so we can make sure everyone receives a wristband. Admission is free.

Please let us know if you have any questions!

Best,
AVHS Cheer Coaches

Hello Amador Cheer families!

The girls are doing great on day 1, learning stunts and the beginning of their Friday Night Light routines.

We are currently anticipating they will be ready for pickup around 10pm at the Hyatt. The camp location is at Great America this year, so the athletes walk about 10 min to get to/from the hotel. Please remain flexible with pickup times throughout the week.

Given we now have to account for walking time, please plan to meet at 8:00 am tomorrow in the lobby of the Hyatt, and we will walk over as a team. Breakfast at the Hyatt starts at 7am but is NOT mandatory.

Tomorrow’s apparel is the purple crop top and gray shorts. Please have athletes wear sunscreen so they are protected during the walk to/from the camp location.

Lastly, the coaches room number is 836 in case you need to reach us on-site for any reason.

Let us know if you have any questions!

Best,
AVHS Cheer Coaches

Dear Amador High School parents and students,

Is it time for your son or daughter to get their driving permit? If so, the first step is the DRIVERS EDUCATION ONLINE PROGRAM.

It’s a huge milestone, and the first step in learning to drive safely!

Amador Boosters has partnered with the YOUR DRIVERS ED ONLINE program to ensure your teens success in step one of this exciting process. So, not only will they be more independent, but they will also learn to be safe.

This program is a state requirement, and the first step to getting your license.

Please check out this new Driver’s Ed Online program we’ve partnered with. Please make sure you DO NOT check the “Assets Program” but DO make sure you choose AMADOR HIGH school and fill in ALAMEDA COUNTY. This way, Amador Boosters will get the credit, thus helping our Amador athletic program. Register on-line now at https://www.yourdriversedonline.com/register.

During these challenging times, this will greatly help our athletic program, and the entire student body!

Thank you!
