Important Info and Dates for Upcoming Season (Repost)

Thank you for attending the meeting last night. We are excited for the upcoming season!

Please turn in your water polo registration fee ($225) and athletic packet tomorrow (Wednesday 8/9) if you haven’t already done so. Bring your yellow slip to practice no later than Wednesday afternoon. Remember you cannot practice on Monday 8/14 without it.

Brentwood Tournament – I will add the game times for the Brentwood Tournament at Heritage High School on 8/22 to the Team Pages Calendar for Varsity and JV.
Varsity – 8:30am, 10:45am and 1:30pm
JV 10:00am, 11:30am and 2:15pm

Please sign up to work at least 1 time per week and also sign up to contribute to breakfast for at least one Friday morning (this section will be added shortly but link is live for the other volunteer jobs). It takes A LOT of parent help to run a home game . There are lots of seasoned parents that would love to train the new parents on running the shot clock, statistics, gamebook, etc. If driving is more your thing, we have 4 away games just make sure you have your Volunteer Clearance and Insurance Paperwork on file with the office.

Ad Sales – Please please please start this now. The girls can form groups or go out in pairs and hit the streets of Pleasanton. Remember 75% of this fundraiser goes directly back to our team! Keep the back page of this packet for Picture Day – August 23rd.

Photos – Mr. Baer will be sharing a google doc for everyone to upload photos.

Water Polo Mixer – Mark your calendar – August 27th 4-7pm @ Amador Valley Community Park behind the Aquatic Center. Details to follow.

Pig Skin – September 15th. We will need volunteers to work our booth.

Parent T-Shirt – Coming Soon!

Apparel Order due this Friday before the retreat. Reminder, if you want your name on your sweatshirt sleeve, it is an extra $8 so $258 for the package and added name. Make checks out to “AVHS Boosters”. If you already wrote a check, we wrote “boosters” if you didn’t have that. I will attach the order form and description sheet in separate post.

We will need a Crab Fee Basket Coordinator. Everyone will be asked to contribute to the basket. We just need someone to come up with the theme, collect and organize the basket.

AV Spirit Wear – there is a tab at the top of Team Pages that links to Amador Spirit Wear. We are working on a team store for Water Polo but for now check out the latest gear.
