50% of our ticket sales goes directly to Water Polo. Tomorrow your player will be given 5 tickets to be sold for $20 each. If your player is unable to sell them, just return the tickets to us. (please do not throw them away, we are responsible to turn them back in). If your player needs more tickets, we’ve got them!! We are offering a prize to the FIRST girls water polo player to sell 10 tickets.
The raffle drawing will occur at halftime of the AV v Foothill game on October 26th. More details of the raffle will be on the envelope your tickets are in.

Final Amateurism Certification Reminder for Students
Students enrolling full time at an NCAA Division I or II college or university in Fall 2018 may request their final amateurism certification starting April 1. This is a requirement to compete their freshman year.

To request final amateurism, students should log in to their Certification Account at eligibilitycenter.org and:
Review their added sports and answers to Sports Questions.
Check their graduation and enrollment dates and update if necessary.
Review any open tasks and complete necessary information.

Remember, the enrollment date in your profile account should reflect the date you first plan to enroll in an NCAA Division I or II school.

Senior Student Athletes Wanted! Please join us for fun and service at the 2nd annual AVHS Boosters Crab Feed! Grab a fellow senior teammate and represent your team at the Crab Feed by volunteering on Feb 23, 2018. Shifts are available from 6:00-9:30 or clean up from 9-12. We are requesting 2 athletes from every sport! Proudly wear your AVHS Jersey or an AVHS team t-shirt and give back to the greater AVHS Boosters cause!

PARENT VOLUNTEERS:
AVHS Boosters is in need of parent volunteers before, during, and after this year’s Crab Feed. Volunteers needed are for: setup for both kitchen and venue, chaperone for senior volunteers in the kitchen and raffle and also post-event cleanup. Please consider giving back to this great cause. Dear Water Polo Families,

Part of our obligation as a team is to create a Girls Water Polo Basket for the crab feed fundraiser. The money that is raised at these events helps to maintain our facilities and helps with the overall costs to have sports at the high school level.

We will do the work to create a “Going Away to College/Dorm Room Basket” which will include: an airline gift card or voucher, Bed Bath & Beyond gift certificate, an electric kettle, some kind of storage box, possibly Uber gift cards, maybe lights and materials to hang photos, as well as ideas for decorating a dorm room.

We are asking each player to contribute $20 towards the basket. You can either Venmo Janet Grell (@Janet-Grell) or have your player bring $20 to Zoe at winter water polo practice by Saturday, January 27th.
