It was clear from the outset that Amador was in command and clearly in control. Every Don, except for the two on injured reserve, put up at least one goal. Part of this success is the support the community has given toward the girls lacrosse club, Pleasanton Pride. The development of young lacrosse athletes is critical for the success of the high school programs. So please reach out to any of the many volunteers and coaches in the Pleasanton Pride community and give them your thanks. I know many of our High School players have played either in Pride and other club programs that cater to lacrosse development. There are many opportunities to pursue lacrosse after the High School season. Some of the more notable programs in the area are Tenacity, Stick with It, Bay Area Wave, and LAXUHR.
The next match up will see the Dons start a 3 game away series against tough opponents. The next match will be against a Davis squad with 8 seniors. Davis has close wins against Monte Vista, University and St. Francis. Their only loss was by one goal against Dougherty Valley. You should be rewarded by an exciting match up if you can make the long drive!
