Hi Everyone,

Thanks for your patience. The results for our first two meets (Livermore High School and Granada) are now posted in the Documents section of this site.

The Documents section is located under Announcements. Look for the Meets Results Folder and they will both be there.

If you have any questions please email: lclaridge@yahoo.com.

Parents,

Today we got the following email from Dougherty Valley.

You are receiving this email because members of your swim team competed in a swim meet this weekend at Dougherty Valley High School.

This evening we received information from Contra Costa Public Health that a Miramonte High School student that participated in a swim meet at DVHS last Saturday (3/18) was diagnosed on Sunday (3/19) with bacterial meningitis. Thankfully, the illness was caught early.

Although the risk of developing the disease is low, parents should be aware of the signs of bacterial meningitis including, but not limited to, fever, headache, stiff neck, nausea, vomiting, weakness, and/or a rash that does not blanch on pressure. If any of these signs or symptoms should develop during the next week, you are advised to take your child to your physician or to the emergency room for evaluation. Antibiotic treatment is usually successful if administered early.

At Dougherty Valley, the health and safety of our students is our top priority. We are working with Contra Costa Public Health on this issue and will provide additional information as it becomes available. If you have any questions, you may contact Contra Costa Public Health at (925) 313-6740. In addition, our staff at Dougherty Valley HS is here to assist in any way. Please see attached fact sheet distributed from Contra Costa Health Services for more information.

Athletic Registration Update 4/20

Posted by Swim at Mar 21, 2017 9:58PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

Swim athletic registration participation is currently at 65% and Dive athletic registration is currently at 26%. This creates a deficit to make up, if you have not done so, please pay your Athletic Registration. You can visit the School Activity Desk or pay online at
For Swim: https://amador.futurefundapp.com/store/campaigns/2371
For Dive: https://amador.futurefundapp.com/store/campaigns/2372

Swim & Dive Financial Scorecard: http://www.amadorsports.com/clubs/4273/pages/119044

Your ‘Athletic Registration’ does not cover all the costs necessary to run the program. Any short fall in Athletic Registration must be covered by the Teams fundraising amount and directly cuts into their ability to build their program. Let’s get this number above 90%.

All money collected for Athletic Registration will be paid directly to AVHS to cover Coaches and Transportation.

#yourgame, let’s support it.
